Alexandria is situated South-East of Ottawa and to the west of Montreal near the border between Ontario and Quebec. This quaint town’s population is primarily French-Canadian. Alexandria is well known for its rich French Catholic history and its location as an intermediate stop for all trains on the Via Rail Ottawa–Montreal line.
